Lets Talk About: CC Hair Extensions

As you guys may have noticed,I had cut my hair to a shoulder length a few months back. And while I absolutely love how easy it is to maintain the style, there are some occasions in every girl's life that simply call for long hair. It is at these moments that CC Hair Extensions come to your rescue and give you long, lustrous hair in a matter of minutes!

CC Hair Extensions provide hair extensions that are high in quality and low in price (the best sort of combination!).If you use hair extensions then you must have seen the ones available in the market are rarely less than 200$ and have a synthetic feel to them.At CC Hair extensions,I have seen the prices starting from as low as 50$ up to 150$ for quality products. And to top it all off, they are made from 100% human hair so they blend right in ! They also have a huge variety of length and colour options to suit women of all types and preferences.

Clip in hair extension are the most easiest to use of all the hair extensions. You don't need to have much practice and can simply clip the extensions on and off from the base of your scalp even if you are a beginner or have no beauty training. It is available in different weights and lengths which you can choose from and are made the best quality Indian Remy hair which feel incredibly soft.

Tape hair extensions are also known as skin weft hair
extensions. These are the best quality of them all as they are seamless and so lay flat on your scalp. These are perfect if you have a special occasion planned as they give you beautiful, long hair without any bumps.

Don't want the hassle of style your hair?
Then try the hair weave extensions also called hair weft. These give you soft and silky hair which do not shed or tangle in a matter of minutes! Also available in a huge variety of style for wavy hair to natural curls(Which I love!) to gorgeous straight hair.

I personally love hair extension and I think CC Hair extensions provide amazing quality and value.
I've even used it for my engagement picture below. You can have a look and not tell any difference between my real hair and the extensions. So,if you need long, lustrous hair be sure to head to CC Hair Extensions!

Festive Dressing with Sabyasachi

One thing that is on every Indian woman's wishlist has to be a Sabyasachi saree. So since I had the oppurtunity,I picked  my first Sabyasachi saree as a part of my wedding trousseau and FINALLY got the chance to wear it on Diwali day (yes,I am running on a bit of a backlog here).I loved how the polka dots, lace, the classic Sabya border and tassels fused so beautifully on this saree. The man is a master at mixing and matching.Hopefully, budget permitting this will be the start of many more purchases to come.

The Bridal Files : Wedding

Your wedding day is the one day when you truly feel like a queen and look like one too.I used to brush away the 'moment when you just know' about your bridal trousseau but the moment I put on this lehenga I knew it was 'The One',And then, just like that you know that you are done looking.I hope the pictures have managed to capture a little bit of the magic and joy that the day had for me.

Almost hard to believe that I've reached at the end of The Bridal Files. It has been a special journey which I have loved sharing with all of you.I just came back from our first anniversary and new years trip last week and it still seems as new as the first day of marriage (minus the formalities,Thank God!).So,lets not think of this as the end of my Bridal Journey but the beginning of my Happily Ever After!

The Bridal Files : Sangeet/Engagement

Hello Lovelies!

Hope you've been enjoying reading The Bridal Files. The outfit I am posting this day is my Sangeet and Engagement (Mudda-tikka) one.Since,I was wearing a typical traditional red wedding lehenga,I wanted to go for an offbeat colour for my Sangeet. Also, since my in-laws were gifting it to me and they were staying in Canada during my engagement period,I had little less than one month to purchase and do the fittings for my Sangeet Lehenga. So,it was a bit of a hunt to find a lehenga in a short period of time which was different and readymade with minor alterations!
My friend referred me to this manufacturer who she was highly impressed with and I decided to check it out after the first few days of browsing were uneventful. The best part was that she said that he only takes an appointment through reference as he usually catered to other boutiques and did not do much of individual orders.I tried a few of the typical pinks and yellows before trying this one on and it was LOVE since I put it on.The colour was perfect and it seemed like I could actually DANCE in it.Also,it was inspired by a Sabyasachi design,And not just one of the cheap imitations which are a dime a dozen but real, quality workmanship.I did not even look at another Lehenga after trying this one on! :D

The Bridal Files : Cocktail Party

The third function we had was a cocktail reception in the lawns of RCGC, Kolkata. It was a magical musical evening with perfect weather and starry skies.I had bought this dress from Gaurav Gupta during my trousseau shopping trip to Delhi and it was love at first sight. It was Indian but not too Indian which is exactly what I wanted for the event and the colour was a beautiful shade of Pink.
It fit me perfectly and didn't even require any alterations! (which is rare when it comes to me and Indianwear). Everyone needs a fairy tale and it felt like this was mine.I have a feeling it's going to stay with me for a long, long time. :)

The Bridal Files : Mehendi

The next morning of the Youngsters Party,We had the Mehendi Function. The theme of the Mehendi was Rajasthani Kitsch.I wanted it to be a really fun event with lots of dancing and filled with the colours of my heritage.I had made matching leheriya outfits for all the women of my family and had a really fun photo booth, complete with a jazzed-up scooter!

We used a lot of DIY for this event and I love how it all turned out. I had made my lehenga infact before I had decided on the theme of the event but somehow it all worked out together!Even the Potlis for the favours were done by my in-house brand and are still available for sale in a modified version!

We handed out these potlis with Rajasthani Doll Hangings as Mehendi Favours.

The Kitschy Scooter!
